INSTRUCTIONS TO COLLEGES FOR THE CONDUCT OF PRACTICAL EXAMINATIONS - September 2014

1.     All candidates should take class before the board of practical examinations and the class should be of 30 minutes duration. Two classes of the same subject can be arranged simultaneously in adjacent rooms.

2.     Prepare internal marks in advance as per the directions and hand over the same to the Chairman, Board of Practical Examinations on the first day itself.

3.     Arrange classes in the forenoon session and viva voce in the afternoon session for the optional subject.

4.     All students should attend viva voce before the core subject examiner, physical education examiner and subject viva voce before the subject examiner. All students should satisfy the requirements as prescribed in the revised B.Ed curriculum for semester II.

5.     Prepare list of candidates both full list and subject wise list with register numbers and provide space for signature of the candidates to ensure their presence in the practical examination. The list should contain the name and seal of the college. A full list should be provided for the co-ordinating chairman, core subject examiner and the physical education examiner. Subject wise list can be given to the subject examiners concerned.

6.     If there is a difference of 20% of marks between the marks awarded by the college and the external board, the chairman has the right to examine the case and settle the variation on a day convenient to him in consultation with the college. In such cases the decision of the chairman will be final.
